Invoice Generator questions
Short answers about privacy, printing, and how the totals work.
How do I create an invoice?
Enter your business details, client details, invoice number, and dates. Add one line item at a time with a description, quantity, and unit price. The preview updates as you type, and the Print / Save PDF button opens your browser print dialog.
Is the Invoice Generator free?
Yes. The TasklyTools Invoice Generator is free to use and does not require an account.
Is my invoice data stored or uploaded?
No. The invoice is built locally in your browser. Your details and line items are not sent to a TasklyTools server. Closing the page clears the form.
Can I save the invoice as a PDF?
Yes. Use Print / Save PDF and choose the PDF option in your browser print dialog. The printed page includes only the invoice, not the website navigation or form fields.
How are tax and discounts calculated?
The subtotal is the sum of quantity multiplied by unit price for each line. A discount is applied to the subtotal first, then tax is calculated on the discounted amount. A fixed discount cannot be larger than the subtotal.
Can I use a different currency?
Yes. Choose a currency from the list and the invoice totals update. The tool formats amounts for display; it does not convert between currencies.
